For over 10 years ammann//gallery has redefined art and design through a dynamic program pushing the boundaries between architecture, art and design. The gallery was founded in 2006 by Gabrielle Ammann, who collaborated with the most significant figures in architecture and design including Ron Arad, Marc Newson and Zaha Hadid. Since 2009 Ammann has developed a strong program focusing on architectural and conceptual photography.
Hélène Binet, recipient of the Julius Shulman Institute Excellence in Architectural Photography Award 2015, reinterprets the visual experience of buildings by world-renowned architects such as Zaha Hadid, Peter Zumthor and Le Corbusier. ammann//gallery will also be showcasing conceptual artist Rolf Sachs “Camera in Motion” project, depicting his train journey on the famous Albula-Bernina Train through the Swiss Alps, creating dynamic and unique images.
