Job Opportunities – Photo London

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for individuals with an interest in the arts to gain invaluable experience and to develop a range of skills in one of London’s most exciting cultural events.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the arts and photography to join the team and work for us on a temporary basis during Photo London, taking place at Somerset House between Wednesday 18th and Sunday 22nd May 2016.

There are a wide range of roles on offer that will provide exciting opportunities for those creative, focused and ambitious individuals interested in this highly specialist market to gain invaluable experience at one of London’s leading cultural institutions.

The positions are paid and successful candidates will also receive an employee benefits package, including exhibition tickets, access for the duration of the event and free entry into some of our exclusive Photo London events.

Depending on the role, expected duties will include:

– Event coordination including guest list management and artist liaison;
– Managing the information and merchandise desk;
– Greeting visitors, answering questions and fielding inquiries;
– Directing general public;
– Helping galleries;
– Helping the Photo London/Candlestar team;
– Anything else as directed by the team leaders

Please note, there will be obligatory training days that will be taking place in May shortly before the fair (full details to follow) which must be attended by all staff. Due to high levels of interest, all candidates must be available for work throughout the duration of the fair.
