Alfie Bowen
Wild World: Nature through an autistic eye

Alfie Bowen, ‘Wild World: Nature through an autistic eye’, ACC Art Books, 2021.

For nature photographer, environmental activist and Nikon Z Cretor Alfie Bowen, the world was a scary place when he was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder at a young age. Despite the many challenges he faced throughout his life, he discovered his passion for animals and photography.

Bowen’s photography has been combined with his discussion on how his autism has helped him in his career in his book titled ‘Wild World: Nature Through An Autistic Eye’. With a foreword by world-renowned naturalist, photographer and TV presenter Chris Packham, this work will be sure to continue Bowen’s campaign to raise awareness of autism as well as protecting the natural world; printed on FSC certified paper and his ‘Buy A Book, Plant A Tree’ initiative.
