Mischa Haller: Not going home

Mischa Haller: Not going home

Not Going Home is the creation of British Culture Archive photographer Mischa Haller,
capturing the essence of summer 1998 as he traveled across the UK, documenting
clubbers and partygoers in the early hours of the morning. His aim was to convey the
feeling of being young, awake all night, and caught in that hazy, dreamlike state.
As the first photobook in the British Culture Archive’s publishing program, Not Going
Home provides a rare glimpse into that in-between moment when clubbers transition
from the euphoria of the night to the reality of the day.
