Justin Dingwall is a celebrated Johannesburg-based artist, multi award-winning, internationally acclaimed. among other prestigious places, he exhibited at Guggenheim Bilbao and he is represented in various prominent collections worldwide. He creates images that resonate with emotion and challenge traditional notions of beauty. his works lean towards the unusual, and less travelled paths with cultural undertones. “My intention is that my photography becomes a celebration of beauty in difference. it’s not about race or fashion, but about perception, and what we subjectively perceive as beauty. I want to create a series of images that resonate with humanity and make people question what is beautiful.” Justin Dingwall will explain the genesis of the “Rerouted” series exhibited at Photo London.
