Katy Grannan in conversation with Phillip Prodger

Katy Grannan is an American portrait photographer, known for her gritty and honest portrayal of marginal people. She is currently working on her first feature-length film, The Nine. Katy Grannan will be questioned by Phillip Prodger, Head of the Photographs Collection at The National Portrait Gallery, London. Previous to this role, Phillip Prodger held several curatorial posts including at the Saint Louis Art Museum, the National Gallery of Canada, and the Peabody Essex Museum, Salem, Massachusetts, where he was the founding Curator of Photography and curated many innovative exhibitions.
