TJ Boulting was established in 2011 in Fitzrovia, London, taking its name from the landmark Arts & Crafts building it inhabits. The programme supports mainly emerging contemporary artists working in all mediums, often with their first solo show and then continuing to develop and further their careers, as well as incorporating more established artists within group shows. It is also the home of publishing house Trolley Books, which was founded in 2001 by the late Gigi Giannuzzi. Hannah Watson joined Trolley in 2005 and is now Director of both gallery and publishing house. TJ Boulting hosts the British Journal of Photography International Award whose winners include Dominic Hawgood, Juno Calypso and Felicity Hammond.
