Bildhalle is proudly following the lead of now-legendary institutions, galleries and individuals who have shaped the Swiss legacy of continually advancing the photographic medium and further expanding it as an art form. Taking cues from this rich history while also positioning the gallery decidedly within our time and international context, gallery founder and director Mirjam Cavegn pursues an ambitious exhibition program that bridges and pairs some of the most innovative, formally rigorous and conceptually exciting artists of the 20th and 21st century.
