The editorial work is in the same DNA of La Fábrica: its first project was Matador magazine, a fine publication regarding culture, ideas and trends, created in 1995. Shortly after appeared PHotoBolsillo collection, a careful selection of monographs in small format dedicated to the main Spanish photographers. With the birth of PHotoEspaña festival, in 1998, La Fábrica begins to publish great photography books: exhibition catalogues, authors collections and institutional books among others, to become, 20 years later, the Publisher of reference that is today.
With more than 600 titles, La Fábrica is present in all markets of the world thanks to its international distribution, with a catalogue that gathers both classics of photography as the most restless and youngest authors on the international scene, also including books of art and literature.
La Fábrica has close relationship with foundations, museums, companies and other institutions, which co-publishes all kinds of books which share high standards of quality, both in content and in form.
We are passionate about making excellent books. Pieces of art of great quality, the latter the principal aim of every project at La Fábrica
