Founded in 2014 in a former photography studio in London by Mark and Magdalena Shackleton, the gallery uses photography as a catalyst to exhibit new and established photographers and photographic artists.
Encouraging freedom of expression and pushing boundaries within the ever-changing face of contemporary photographic practice enables the gallery to show innovative works and ideas within its diverse programme of exhibitions.
As well as discovering new artists and nurturing their ways of seeing, MMX Gallery also unearths previously hidden archives to realise the continuing magnetism of vintage prints.
Since its inception, represented artists work has been acquired by numerous international institutions and private collectors.
