Galerie Thierry Bigaignon is exclusively dedicated to contemporary photography. With a strong international focus, the gallery supports and defends the unique vision of its artists, whether they be emerging, mid-career or established worldwide, in their quest to propose a new visual vocabulary, challenge the medium and explore the full extent of its possibilities. As such, the gallery represents Catherine Balet, Renato D'Agostin, Harold Feinstein, Henri Foucault, Vittoria Gerardi, Ralph Gibson, Yannig Hedel, Sabine Mirlesse and Thomas Paquet. As a way to support emerging artists, the gallery also invites once a year a photographer it does not directly represent but whose work deserves to be brought to light.

Every year, the gallery publishes Post-Scriptum, a first-of-its-kind premium limited-edition gallery catalogue recording each exhibition of the gallery.

With the(M) éditions (a premium publishing company in which the gallery took a stake) and Collectors Confidential (the gallery’s photography platform which only features unique, rare and/or special artworks), the gallery is thus also active on both ends of the market, the print and the web, with a strong positioning: photography, quality and rarity.

Located in the thriving Upper-Marais in Paris, France and nested in a magnificent 17th century mansion, the gallery offers a true contemporary space which is both open to the outside and accessible to everyone, but also elevated so as to offer collectors a greater sense of privacy and confidentiality.

The gallery is a member of the CPGA (Comité Professionnel des Galeries d'Art), the French association for art galleries.
