Founded in 2007 and located in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district of central Paris, Galerie Frédéric Moisan exhibits contemporary artists, photographers and visual artists, who are primarily authors and creators worldwide. The gallery is committed to the representation and continued support of French and foreign artists, either emerging or established, making the space a place of discovery and international exchange between artists, writers and collectors. Fascinated by the literary, mystical and timeless caracteristics of the artworks, the gallery strives to emphasize their unique presence in the world and to point out how they raise intellectual and aesthetic questions through the development of singular aspirations as well as the germination of new forms of language. Valuing different mediums, styles and approaches serves as the core vision that Galerie Frédéric Moisan aims to transmit through its various exhibitions and activities.
For its first show in Photo London, the gallery is pleased to showcase the Taiwanese artist HSU Ching-Yuan. Through his original vision, bringing personal life experience into his creative process, Hsu explores the relationship between the human being and his environment, and criticizes the impact of industrialisation on our planet and its inhabitants. Two videos, for which the artist has been qualified for Taipei Art Awards 2020, will be unveiled along with some twenty prints.
