David Hill Gallery opened in Ladbroke Grove, West London, in 2015. The gallery often champions unseen work and overlooked archives. Exhibitions have included Sanlé Sory’s first solo exhibition in 2017, Mario Carnicelli’s award-winning mid-1960s American street photography, and Baldwin Lee’s critically acclaimed large-format document of 1980s African American life in the Southern States. Recently, the gallery showed Alice Mann’s Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize-winning Drummies series, and Rashidi Bissiriou’s compelling monochrome portraits from Kétou, Benin.
