Spotz is a creative studio founded by artist Pete Voelker, It is a primary part of his practice; dedicated to fostering inclusive visual dialogues and community-driven storytelling.

Launched in 2019, Spotz began with PIX, a dynamic call-and-response photography project that invites artists worldwide to engage in visual conversations. Each edition starts with a prompt image from a lead artist, inspiring diverse submissions that are curated into a collective narrative rooted in accessibility and collaboration. To date, 40 PIX portfolios have been published, featuring 1200 images from more than 600 photographers.

Among its notable publications is Time Elapsed Time Remaining (2023), a photography book capturing the enigmatic nature of Europe’s eastern border. Through 115 photographs, Spotz founder Pete Voelker explores themes of cooperation, resilience, and rising nationalism, offering a layered meditation on identity and place in a shifting geopolitical landscape. Another significant work is Big City Nobody (2024), a photographic series by Luisa Opalesky. Shot between 2020 and 2024, the project documents the chaotic beauty of New York City—revealing moments of daily life, the vibrancy of nightlife, and outtakes from assignments commissioned by The New York Times and Interview Magazine.

At the London Photo Fair, Spotz presents selections that reflect its ethos—inviting viewers to slow down, look closer, and connect with the nuanced perspectives captured through the lens.
