Join our team! We’re looking for a Head of VIP

 

 

Photo London are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual as Head of VIP Relations, a key ambassadorial role that will help us to ensure the future development of the Fair. The Head of VIP Relations will be responsible for growing the existing Photo London VIP network and overseeing all aspects of the programmes that Photo London creates for collectors at all levels.

Reporting to Director

Contract Type: Full-time

DUTIES INCLUDE:

VIP Strategy

  • Support strategic goals for Photo London’s global activities
  • VIP Cultivation: Cultivate specific relations; support year-round cultivation planning and putting together programmes
  • Manage VIP Programming including Special Visits + Experiences for top tier VIPs
  • Relations Management: Lead relations with museums & institutions in UK & other countries
  • Database Management: Work closely with Director on processes and data capture
  • Attend Gallery and Institution openings in London and abroad when applicable
  • Support special projects that promote audience development + delivery of VIPs
  • Oversee nomination outreach (confirm lists, draft copy, liaise with data on issuing links/allocations)
  • Patron groups – liaise with Partnerships, Events, Fair Director and other departments to accommodate groups requiring tours, gatherings, special itineraries etc. at the fair

 VIP Communications

  • Oversee VIP Communications
  • Create and manage Comms timeline for the fair
  • Attend communication/marketing/content related meetings

Team Management

  • Line management of a small team
  • Management of weekly team meetings
  • Assist project management and timelines regarding VIP invitations
  • Create strategy and cultivation plans on VIP audience experience

Finance & Timeline

  • Oversee VIP budget
  • Devise and maintain VIP timeline

Please note:

  • Travel to fairs if required
  • Extra working hours may be needed pre fair and during fair
  • Expected to network and therefore manage time in/outside of office

 

Preferable Experience

  • Sound knowledge of the international art and photography world
  • Evidence of experience of commercial aspect of the international art world
  • Proven experience of working with HNWIs with discretion
  • Experience with and contacts within UK & international museum patrons’ groups
  • Understanding of managing a large contact database (CRM)
  • Understanding of managing large mailings
