VIP Assistant – Photo London
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for individuals with an interest in the arts to gain invaluable experience and to develop a range of skills in one of London’s most exciting cultural events.
The fifth edition of Photo London takes place at Somerset House between May 15 – 19, 2019. Featuring 100+ of the world’s leading galleries this fifth edition builds on a highly successful fourth edition that saw Photo London establish its position as one of the world’s leading art fairs. We are now seeking to enhance our team through the appointment of a VIP assistant for the duration of the Fair.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the arts and photography to join the team and work for us on a temporary basis during Photo London, taking place at Somerset House between Wednesday 15th and Sunday 19th May 2019.
Successful candidates must be comfortable working within a fast paced environment and as part of a team. A polite manner, exceptional attention to detail, a dynamic approach to working and excellent spoken English are essential.
The positions are paid £9.75 per hour.
Expected duties will include:
- Event coordination including guest list management;
- Managing the VIP desk;
- Operating filing system;
- Greeting visitors, answering questions and fielding enquiries;
- Anything else as directed by the team leaders.
Please note, there will be obligatory training days that will be taking place in May shortly before the fair (full details to follow) which must be attended by all staff. Due to high levels of interest, all candidates must be available for work throughout the duration of the fair.
