The gallery represents pioneering first exponents of the art including Talbot, Le Gray, Marville, Fenton and Tripe. For 2022 we will be exhibiting work by these and other early 19th century artists, including prints by women photographers working in the 1850's and 1860's, and also the rural photography of P.H. Emerson taken in East Anglia in the 1880's and 1890's.
