Austria. The Art of Discovery

Exploring the diversity of contemporary Austrian photography, the commission showcases the work of five photographers living and working in Austria. Representative of the experimental work coming out of the Austrian photography scene today, the installation will reveal different aspects of the country through the eyes of some of its most innovative practitioners.

The commission features the work of Thomas Albdorf, Hanna Putz, Klaus Pichler, Stefanie Moshammer and Daniel Gebhart de Koekkoek. Curated by the British Journal of Photography, the installation was made possible with the support of the Austrian National Tourist Office, as part of its initiative Austria. The Art of Discovery, which presents a unique insight into the country from the perspectives of local thinkers, artists and entrepreneurs.
