After eight years in New York (Peter Freeman, Inc., Parkers Box) and six years at the Pinacothèque de Paris (Paris – Singapore), Hélianthe Bourdeaux-Maurin opens H Gallery in Paris in September 2016. She bases her artistic line on the discovery and promotion of talents who have never or rarely been shown in France: whether they are European artists or, more particularly, artists who live and work in North America and Latin America.
These artists use mediums as varied as installations, paintings, drawings, sculptures, videos, performances or photographs. This great continent of America is the subject of so much attention that it seems to us already well known. Yet it still contains unexplored treasures at the crossroads of cultures that nourish both its diversity and its contemporaneity.
