J. K. Lavin will give a walkthrough and artist’s talk about her two bodies of work Crisis of Experience, a series of Polaroid SX70 self-
portraits she took on a daily basis from 1979 to late 1987 and “IF” and a series of silver gelatin self-portraits created with photobooth machines in 1977.

J. K. Lavin is a visual artist based in Venice, California. Lavin’s photographic practice focuses on memory, self-portraiture and the measurement of time.
