JEDNOSTKA Gallery, founded by Katarzyna Sagatowska in 2017 in Warsaw, represents artists from different generations with distinctive personalities and artistic output. Freedom, identity, consensus, transformation, civic engagement, systems of control, mental health, human relations with the digital world and nature – these are the main themes explored by JEDNOSTKA's artists.
JEDNOSTKA conducts comprehensive activities, such as organising exhibitions, publishing art books, producing films, and all its activities are accompanied by educational programmes. The gallery participates in fairs, including Paris Photo, Vienna Contemporary, Hotel Warszawa Art Fair, NADA Villa Warsaw, and Unseen Amsterdam.
JEDNOSTKA's exhibitions and publications have received numerous awards in Poland and abroad, including shortlists for the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize for Weronika Gęsicka (2026) and Rafał Milach (2018), Special Awards from the ING Polish Art Foundation during Warsaw Gallery Weekend (2024, 2022), Photo Book of the Year 2021 Grand Press Photo and Author Book Award 2022 Les Rencontres De La Photographie, Arles (France) for Rafał Milach's book ‘Strajk’ (Strike).
