COLLECTIVE PROJECT OF PHOTOBOOK PUBLISHERS IN LATIN AMERICA
This project brings together various publishers and authors dedicated to photobooks, image, and new independent publishing initiatives in Latin America.
Fotolibros.lat was created to give visibility to all these projects and, through collective work, find new ways of collaborating, circulating, promoting, and selling publications beyond the borders of each country.
Given the long history of difficulties in circulating and exhibiting photobooks from different countries on this continent in other countries, this project seeks to open a space for collaboration between publishers and authors to generate new visibility options for the rich new panorama of photobooks currently being produced in Latin America.
In addition, we are inaugurating a collective way of attending fairs around the world through collaboration between publishers and, above all, the people who make up this project.
As a collective project, Fotolibros.lat is being presented to the public for the first time at Photo London 2026, bringing together more than fifty publishing projects and authors who self-publish their books. It is an honor to present this collaborative project for the first time at this festival.
Till now we have the collaboration of amazing projects from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Perú, México and Uruguay ,and more will be added in the coming months.
We invite you to explore all our projects on our website and at our booth at Photo London, where you’ll have the chance to meet several artists who are traveling to London to share the international launch of their publications with the public.
