This audio visual work is part of Nature Prints, an ongoing artistic research project by Carolina Baldomá that explores the relationship between human beings and nature through the ideas of synchronicity and coexistence. In her practice, Baldomá approaches the landscape as a space of encounter rather than intervention, positioning herself as a mediator and attentive witness to the processes unfolding within the territory.

Filmed in the Argentine Pampas, the video captures the vast horizontality of the plains through aerial drone footage – revealing waterways, lagoons, and natural areas that remain outside intensive human production. The slow, contemplative movement of the camera invites viewers to experience the landscape not only as a physical space but also as a temporal one, encouraging a slower and more attentive gaze.

For Baldomá, artistic action emerges from direct contact with the environment. Her gestures integrate non-invasively into the landscape, allowing the work to arise from the encounter between body, time, and place. In this sense, the videos are not simply documentation but part of a situated practice in dialogue with the environment.

The audiovisual works are closely connected to Baldomá’s cyanotype photographs created directly in natural settings. Together, moving and still images form a hybrid body of work that reflects on ecological fragility, human presence, and the need to rethink our relationship with nature through care, attention, and respect.
