Booth Event – Book Signing: Colectivo Narval | Ro Delgadillo Miranda

Aquí no hay Dios is a photobook that reconstructs the memory of an emblematic nightclub in Valparaíso, Chile, which during the 2000s became a refuge for the port city’s LGBTQIA+ scene. While its community and energy persist, the original underground venue in Plaza Echaurren no longer exists, having been replaced by another space. In response to this displacement, the book becomes both an archival gesture and an act of resistance. Drawing on real testimonies gathered through Grindr, along with screenshots and visual remnants recovered from Flickr, Facebook, and YouTube, the work assembles a cemetery of scattered images that gives new body to a vanished site. Rather than simply documenting a place, Here There Is No God activates an affective and collective memory, where voices, digital ruins, and fragments of remembrance rebuild the life of a space central to Valparaíso’s dissident history.
