Vera takes us on a poetic journey, following the story of 42-year-old Sister Vera. Set in striking Belarusian forested countryside, we discover the hidden Orthodox community that has been Vera’s home for 20 years. In the convent, Vera embraces ancient, monastic rituals. On rural farmland, she tends to horses and works with men from the convent’s rehabilitation centre. Vera’s daily life is deeply connected to nature and faith, where she finds strength in a life of surrender and service
