Wednesday, May 13, 13:30 —16:00Kristina Shook, co-writer and narrator of the film, was the daughter, subject, and collaborator of Melissa Shook from the mid-1960s through the 1980s. Today, she is a writer and performance artist dedicated to preserving her mother’s legacy.   Kristina (Krissy) will be delighted to walk visitors through the MIYAKO YOSHINAGA booth presentation of her mother’s photographs of their shared life, reflecting on what it meant to grow up under her mother’s constant yet loving gaze—something she always experienced as entirely natural.
