Essentially a portrait of Cape Town, a city in flux, 'A Foreign Land' considers ‘the mechanisms of memory and the mapping of geographies’ in a Post Apartheid democratic South Africa. Through the lens, Cape Town based photographer Alastair Whitton explores what he refers to as the ‘architecture of time and the poetics and politics of place’.
