Fang emerges from the artist’s experience during the 2024 DANA floods in Valencia, where imagined escape routes became a form of mental mapping. Rather than documenting catastrophe, the project reconstructs the disorientation of its aftermath through image-making. Navigating between memory and speculation, it reflects on how photography can re-stage trauma, transforming the act of looking into a process of negotiation between what was experienced and what is remembered.
