Booth Event – Developed in Motion

Traditional photobooth portraits are typically constrained to the face and shoulders. AUTOFOTO is reimagining this space with a modified analogue photobooth designed to capture full-length portraits. In this collaboration, choreographer and dancer Michela Meazza performs to the machine’s mechanical rhythm, as the machine shoots a portrait every six seconds. The resulting strips form a sequential storyboard—a visual echo of the performance.

Michela Meazza is a Performer, Movement Director and Choreographer. She has worked across Dance, Theatre and Films. She has been a long-standing member of the Matthew Bourne’s Dance Company, creating and playing leading roles. She received a National Dance Award for Outstanding Female Performer in 2021. Michela is very passionate about the power of Movement and Body language and its potential across various media.
