Booth Event – Kasia Wozniak
Kasia Wozniak with her plate camera
Behind the Camera with Kasia Wozniak
Sarabande alumnus Kasia Wozniak’s work investigates the tangibility of the photograph and how we view images today. Working predominantly with analogue, specifically the wet plate collodion technique, allows Kasia to stretch and distort the experience of time, using long exposures and experimentation in the darkroom to explore ideas of approximation and truth. Her work was recently selected for the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery.
Join Kasia in the House of Bandits booth from 12-6pm on Saturday 17th May, when she’ll be on site with her antique camera, to give insight into the process behind the new body of work she has created for Photo London.
