This book is the first work of this great James Barnor who has had a pioneering role in African photography. The book brings together highlights of his career, through 30 years of color and black &white images (about 200 photographs), supported by captions written by James Barnor, as well as several texts, including an interview conducted by Margaret Busby and Francis Hodgson. Renée Mussai, curator at Autograph ABP, who has managed the work of James Barnor since 2009, and Kobena Mercer, professor at Yale University also contribute texts.
