Evolving Spaces: Photography and the Museum

From Stockholm to London to New York the face of the photography space is changing dramatically. In London the Victoria and Albert Museum have announced plans for much expanded photography centre that will open in Autumn 2018.  In 2019 in New York the International Center of Photography (ICP) will locate all of its activities in an exciting new building. The photography scene in both cities will receive a considerable boost with the arrival of Stockholm’s pioneering Fotografiska.

Martin Barnes is Senior Curator of Photographs at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

Tommy Rönngren is a Founding Partner and Chairman of the Board at Fotografiska, Stockholm and London.

Mark Lubell is the Executive Director of the International Center of Photography, New York.
