Thames & Hudson presents: Oasis through the lens of Jill Furmanovsky

Having documented the phenomenon of Oasis from the end of 1994, through to the band’s final tense shows before they broke up in 2009, and then on to their new beginning in 2025, legendary music photographer Jill Furmanovsky is joined by [TBC] to discuss her electrifying photos from her long-standing association with the band. She will be in conversation with Nigel Atherton.

Jill Furmanovsky (born 1953) is a British photographer who has specialised in documenting rock musicians. She has photographed many major rock musicians, including Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, The Ramones, Bob Marley, Amy Winehouse, Eric Clapton, Blondie, The Police, The Clash, The Undertones, The Sex Pistols, The Pretenders and Oasis.

Nigel Atherton is Editor of Amateur Photographer. He has also written and edited several books on photography.
