Since it’s establishment in 1989, Peter Fetterman Gallery has been committed to promoting the awareness and appreciation of the photographic medium as fine art. Specializing in humanist, fashion and documentary work, from 19th Century to contemporary, the gallery has developed one of the largest inventories of blue-chip classic photography in the United States while continually hosting exhibitions by the some of the world's most acclaimed photographers. Peter has worked alongside many of the most significant photographers in recent history including Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sebastião Salgado, Steve McCurry, Robert Doisneau, Willy Ronis, Ruth Bernhard, Lillian Bassman, André Kertész, Horst P. Horst and many more. The Gallery regularly collaborates with major international museums and educational institutions while supporting the research and production of fine art prints, monographs and special artist portfolios.
