TOBE Gallery focuses on contemporary photography and collage art. The gallery opened in October 2013 with the aim to provide the opportunity to present Ibero-American and local artists on whom the ambition of high-quality artistic expression is part of the idea of experimentation on their works. Recognized and emerging artists are exhibited and represented by the gallery alike.
This is the first step of an ambitious project called TOmas BEa project. Tomas Opitz got a degree in Architecture in Caracas, at the same time his passion for photography has been getting stronger. Bea Puskás originally got a degree in Geology, but her affinity and interest in Art, motivated her to finish the Cultural Management Program at the MOME University in Budapest. These backgrounds have made them start with the gallery project, bringing a new venue in the field of contemporary photography to Budapest.
