Sid Motion Gallery

Sid Motion Gallery is a new independent art gallery exhibiting contemporary art and photography. Since the gallery opened in a former betting shop in Kings Cross, London, its aim has been to bring a range of fresh, vibrant artists working in different media to the fore. Through an exhibition and events programme of emerging artists, the gallery aims to introduce a forum for conversation, education and development. For Photo London, the gallery presents Jo Dennis' new works that typify her practice, presenting overlaid photographs and hand finished images using unique painting techniques. These works are part of her ongoing investigation into incidental layering of paint and time as a multi-layered entity that manifests in derelict and abandoned spaces and waste items.
