Established in 2003, the Galerija Fotografija is the first private gallery in Slovenia dedicated mainly to fine art photography. Located in the old Ljubljana city center, the Galerija Fotografija aims to popularize high-quality photography of established Slovene and international artists. Alongside up to eight annual exhibitions, the gallery also organizes lectures, round tables, and project presentations. The gallery entered the international art market in 2009.
The gallery also runs a bookshop focused on photography literature.
