UNIT 7 is an artist-led space for contemporary art in a large industrial unit in London, founded in 2018. A space for ambitious exhibitions and events, it realises the promoters’ continuous aim of showcasing projects of the best contemporary art.

For the past two decades Prahlad Bubbar gallery has curated and exhibited presentations of 19th and 20th century photography. The gallery has worked with museums and private collections in sourcing the best material. Past photographic exhibitions in our Mayfair gallery have received acclaim from the international press, including The New York Times, British Journal of Photography, The Economist, BBC and RIBA Journal.

Prahlad Bubbar gallery specialises in the arts of South Asia, 20th century masterpieces, photography, design, and contemporary art. The gallery is a regular exhibitor at Frieze Masters, and Asia Week New York.

Photo London 2022:

Vintage prints by Eckart Muthesius, the legendary German architect, designer, photographer of the interwar period whose magnum opus was the palace built for the Maharaja of Indore, Manik Bagh.

Conceptual artist Shubha Taparia explores the material force in her compilations of ‘the everyday’ urban environment. In 2018 she meticulously built a large-scale sculptural installations of 30x10 metres in size and photographed it. She uses gold to highlight carefully composed architectural photographs.
