SERCHIA is a residential and not-for-profit woman run gallery which exists in the curator's Victorian home on a hillside in Bristol, UK. Founded in 2021, we celebrate contemporary artists who illuminate the unseen and reveal the deeply personal. Our exhibitions are a bridge between the singular and the universal sharing vital creative work as a medium for connection, understanding, and transformation both expressed and witnessed. Exhibiting themes of identity, human connection, environmental consciousness, and the interplay between technology, SERCHIA is home to an art book library and archive, an artist residency programme, a publishing imprint, and a collaborative photography studio and agency. We interact with the community through a constellation of events, support artist-nominated charities, offer guidance for creative practice, and cultivate opportunities for artists of all backgrounds. SERCHIA exists as an opportunity to reimagine possibility. Founded by curator Christine Serchia, SERCHIA is named in honour and memory of her father, Frank Serchia.
