Agony + Ecstasy is an Ibiza-based photography gallery and in-house publisher run by Creative Director Emma Salahi. Rediscovering unpublished photography archives from the mid-century these photographers champion Ibiza’s ever-evolving landscape since the island’s emergence in the 1950s. Representation of these viewpoints and conceptualising them into publications is Agony + Ecstasy’s curatorial DNA.
Notably since its founding in 2022, Agony + Ecstasy produced the book Oriol Maspons Ibiza published by IDEA which received an overwhelming reception. Walter Rudolph: Ibiza 1976 will be the second publication from the gallery with its release celebrated at Photo London.
