Curated by artist Cyrus Mahboubian and presented by Maison Pan*, ANTIDOTE is a Polaroid-only exhibition featuring leading contemporary artists who engage the medium in distinct and compelling ways.
In contrast to the endlessly replicated digital image – primarily viewed via screens only – Polaroid stands as an object: immediate, tactile and unedited. Each image exists as a singular artefact, reinforcing the exhibition’s central idea that slowness, scarcity and physicality remain potent forces in contemporary photography.
