Yuma studios is a London-based creative studio, founded in 2025, making concept-led visual work grounded in cultural storytelling and social documentary. In a divided world, Yuma Studios bridges cultures and communities through image-making shaped by compassion, emotional depth, and a human-first approach. Working across art, documentary, fashion and music, YUMA STUDIOS move from the intimate to the monumental without sacrificing either. At this year's Photo London, Yuma Studios present James Clifford Kent's Yuma: A Portrait of Cuba in the Discovery section, curated by Charlotte Jansen. YUMA offers a long-view portrait of the Caribbean's largest island at a moment of profound crisis, shaped over twenty years of repeated journeys, trust and sustained attention. Premiering at Photo London’s Discovery section, Yuma brings together documentary photography, ephemera and testimony in a mixed-media study of a country in flux, now facing its deepest crisis since the 1990s.
