  • Sponsorship deal brokered by Photo London’s agency Reg&Co Ltd

Nikon, the leading innovative camera and technology brand, has been announced as an official partner of Photo London 2020 and Photo London’s online Academy for the next twelve months.

Nikon has a more than one hundred year legacy of innovation in photography. The brand is the choice of many of the world’s greatest photographers and is responsible for capturing some of the most iconic images in the last century. Nikon is delighted to support Photo London in shining a spotlight on historical greats as well as fresh perspectives. With products and services designed to help photographers realise their creative vision, Nikon is committed to being a lifelong partner to those pursuing the highest levels of quality.

Education and inspiration are at the heart of Nikon’s core values and provide the best opportunity for them to build great relationships with the photographic community. Their recent launch of Nikon School Online, a platform for photographers of all abilities to learn new techniques and discover the latest technologies, is an expression of their commitment to education and is closely aligned with Photo London’s Academy. Their courses are led by top professionals and cover a wide variety of different topics including food, macro and wildlife photography.

Nikon will be partnering in the online aspects of Photo London, with year-round content and talks in The Academy, run by Photo London.

Head of Marketing at Nikon Northern Europe, Julian Harvie said, “We are really excited to be partnering with Photo London, an event and platform that, like us, empowers photography and photographers at the highest level. We look forward to supporting a programme that is truly inspirational, both at the event and online via The Academy”.

Michael Benson and Fariba Farshad, Founders of Photo London, said: “This partnership with Nikon is a perfect alignment for Photo London and we are hugely excited by the creative potential of this partnership. An association with Nikon will not only strengthen Photo London but the possibility of a collaboration with the Nikon School will give significant impetus to the development of our new Academy.”
