Online Talks Programme

Photo London’s online talks will largely take place before 11 May as an exciting pre-fair programme to complement the seventh edition. All talks are free of charge.

German artist, adventurer and future astronaut Michael Najjar showcases his Outer Space series as well as revealing his Starbase triptych – a new piece he’ll be showing at Photo London 2022.

Deep Diving is a dialogue between Joanne Dugan, photo-based visual artist and W.M.Hunt, writer, curator and teacher. Both are New Yorkers and have been friends and professional colleagues for a long time. Two years of lockdown intensified their relationship via random FaceTImes, checking in with each other frequently to gossip and to talk about their work.

A conversation with Felipe Romero Beltrán, Winner of the 2022 Aperture Portfolio Prize
Presented by Photo London

Felipe Romero Beltrán, winner of the 2022 Aperture Portfolio Prize, will be in conversation with Brendan Embser, senior managing editor of Aperture magazine. Beltrán’s series Dialect, about young immigrant men navigating legal limbo in Spain, was chosen from more than one thousand submissions and will be published in the Summer 2022 issue of Aperture magazine. As part of the Aperture Portfolio Prize, Romero Beltrán will receive a $3,000 cash award and his photographs will be presented in an exhibition at Baxter St at The Camera Club of New York, July 27–August 27, 2022.
