Photo London returns to Somerset House – where the term ‘photography’ was first coined in 1839 – from 14 – 17 May 2020. Bringing the finest international photography to London every May, the fair presents the best historic and vintage works while also to spotlighting fresh perspectives in photography. Along with a selection of the world’s leading photography dealers and galleries, the Fair’s Discovery section is dedicated to the most exciting emerging galleries and artists. In addition, each edition sees unique Public and Talks Programmes and several Awards announced, headlined by the Photo London Master of Photography Award.

Beyond the Fair, Photo London regularly hosts Pre-Fair Talks engaging with the craft, market and knowledge of photography. The next Pre-Fair talk will present Hungarian artist Marton Perlaki in conversation with Maisie Skidmore. London-based Perlaki is a visual artist who works primarily in photography. His practice narrows in on the minutiae of human nature – the personal, the emotional and the psychological grit so fundamental to who we are – to examine our shared experience anew. Through his lens, familiar scenes become at once intimate, bewildering, simple and absurd.
