Palm* Studios is a London based contemporary gallery project focusing on a new generation of photographers. Its aim is to support, elevate and showcase the best of the new wave of image-makers both emerging and established. Palm* encourages conversations on human engagement, artistic development, community and representation through the printed image.
Though all the artists exhibited have differing personal aesthetics, their work is held together by practices that stem from the analogue process and imagery that’s rooted in the real. The images included in the show, though not strictly documentary, lend many of its observational properties to create sentimental and often almost romantic visions.
