Contour Gallery

Contour Gallery, established in 2017, focuses on photography and photo-based art. Since its inception, the gallery has been based in Rotterdam and represents a carefully curated selection of artists from the Netherlands and beyond. Our focus is on photography that pushes the boundaries of the medium and fosters cross-pollination with other visual art forms, bringing fresh perspectives and new impulses to the dialogue.
Another key pillar of the gallery is our commitment to diversity. We strive to maintain a fair balance between male and female creators in our exhibitions and presentations, with a dedicated effort to provide a platform for female artists. Through this approach, we aim to contribute to a more inclusive art landscape.

Contour fosters a vibrant global network for its artists. In collaboration with each artist, the gallery crafts unique strategies to shape and amplify their artistic vision. The gallery sets the framework, the artist reshapes the space, and the viewer is invited to engage with the evolving narrative, offering their own interpretation of the work.
