Founded in 2007, Polka Gallery is located in the heart of the Marais in Paris, in the Cour de Venise. Dedicated to modern and contemporary photography, it promotes a rigorous and discerning vision of the image by representing both major figures in the history of photography and contemporary artists.
Alongside great masters and 20th-century photographers such as William Klein, Sebastião Salgado, Elliott Erwitt, Joel Meyerowitz, and Franco Fontana, the gallery also highlights contemporary voices including Miho Kajioka, Éloïse Labarbe-Lafon, Joakim Eskildsen, Alexander Gronsky, and Édouard Elias.
Each year, the gallery organizes 6 to 8 solo and group exhibitions in its Parisian spaces, fostering a continuous dialogue between photographic heritage and contemporary creation. These exhibitions often mark highlights of the Paris art scene, combining timeless classics with new discoveries and exclusive productions.
Polka Gallery is also very active internationally. Several times a year, it takes part in major international art fairs such as Paris Photo, Photo London, Art Paris, Art Brussels, and Art Basel, among other leading events, presenting carefully curated selections that broaden the visibility of its artists among collectors and institutions worldwide.
Finally, Polka is committed to building strong relationships between artists, collectors, and institutions, supporting its photographers in the production of new projects, the promotion of their work, and their inclusion in major public and private collections.
